New Orleans Second Day - Cemetery Shots

PHOTOS TAKEN 03-18-24.

When my husband said I could tag along on his work trip to New Orleans, I was filled with excitement and immediately started planning where I could take photos. I was in New Orleans before Katrina when I was 20. I was touring with my band, and we were able to walk up and down bourbon street with some strippers who came to our show and let us crash at their place for the night. Needless to say, I didn’t get the full NOLA experience back then. I made it a point to make sure we really got to soak up the city and everything we could experience. I tried to capture the creepy vibes and all the colorful buildings and graffiti. All of the amazing architecture, food, culture, etc.

Day 2 (St Louis No. 1 Cemetery Shots) - This was one of the best parts of the trip and one place I was looking forward to taking photos at. There is something other worldly about New Orleans Cemeteries. They feel like towns with the alley-ways they make. It’s amazing and breath-taking to say the least. Shooting these photos was effortless. I didn’t have much to convey as the scenes spoke for themselves. These graves had their own story they told silently and peacefully. These pictures are not titled. I just wanted to display them here in all their beauty for everyone to see and enjoy.
