NYC DAYTIME SHOTS

PHOTOS TAKEN 02-03-24

When your birthday is in February and you live near NYC, you tend to take advantage of that. At least I do. Even though it can be bitter outside, there are less tourists this time of the year. Christmas is over, New Year’s Eve is over with. No one wants to vacation during this time of the year. Perfect for me! I tried capturing the “big” feel of the Big Apple, while also trying to find little moments. I like capturing people crossing the intersections, or the big billboard signs. I started really finding my “look” in these pictures. This was the beginning of trying to understand how to use the histogram when doing my edits. They aren’t perfect by any means, but they showed some progress into my journey in photography.
